Bernard O’bien is a seasoned digital transformation leader who has architected and scaled technology solutions across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Known for bridging technical expertise with strategic insight, he helps organizations drive innovation, streamline operations, and build future-ready systems in complex, high-growth markets.

Bernard began his career as a software engineer at Alcatel and Motorola, where he played a key role in building resilient telecom infrastructure. His focus later shifted to enterprise innovation,leading transformation initiatives and data-driven strategies for major financial institutions across Africa. His work spans fraud detection systems, financial inclusion efforts, and secure, cloud-first platforms in high-growth markets and the global south..

Currently, Bernard is Managing Partner at NthPoint Technology, where he consults for organizations on leveraging AI, cloud computing, and data analytics to reimagine their operations. His approach emphasizes security, sustainability, and scalability - ensuring that transformation efforts deliver long-term value. A graduate of the University of Lagos (BSc, Applied Physics) and an MBA from MIT, Bernard blends engineering rigor with business acumen. Outside of work, he’s an eleven-time marathoner, a history buff, and a committed mentor to aspiring tech leaders.
