Social Footprint and GAB Foundation

The GAB Foundation is the execution arm of Griots and Bards (GAB), registered at Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and currently being operationalized.
Driven by the vision that debate, dialogue, and meaningful conversations must lead to action, the Foundation is dedicated to transforming ideas into tangible outcomes. Inspired by the spirit of the African village square and the philosophy of Ubuntu, we focus on shaping opinions, behaviors, and fostering civic responsibility and social awareness.

As the operational arm of GAB, the Foundation focuses on executing aspirational projects that align with our community’s collective vision for innovation, entrepreneurship, human capital development, and social transformation. Our projects are designed to empower the next generation of thought leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, and activists while fostering personal development, economic empowerment, and socio-economic change. We leverage a push-pull collaboration model, partnering with NGOs, corporations, and foundations to scale our impact, mobilizing volunteers within the GAB community and beyond to drive meaningful change.

The Foundation will bridge dialogue with action, ensuring that conversations within the GAB community translate into measurable, impactful results. We are committed to modernizing the African village square experience, bringing it into the digital age and scaling its impact through innovation, technology, and global partnerships. Our focus on innovation and entrepreneurship ensures that we provide platforms for capacity building and skills development that contribute to both personal growth and community prosperity.

We actively engage in CSR initiatives, collaborating with corporate partners to enhance their social responsibility efforts, building projects that create sustainable development and positive societal impact. By tracking and reporting our social impact footprint, we ensure transparency and provide reportable updates to sponsors, partners, and community members, showing the direct outcomes of their support.
